For Studio Mitte, our communications studio in Salzburg, i designed a couple of lounge chairs, including a big sofa and 2 armchairs.

The core is made of simple polystyrene insulating boards (100 x 50 x 10 cm, as they are sold in every construction market), covered with cord fabric. The covers can easily be removed (for washing) or exchanged with different fabrics (like leather i.e.)
